Church
Hill Praise is a lively, contemporary service which takes places at 6.30 pm
every Sunday evening. Our informal services combine a mix of band lead worship,
biblical yet practical teaching, creative prayer and multimedia.. A team of
people work together to keep each service fresh and interesting and there are
lots of opportunities to get involved if you want to use and develop your
gifts. Over the last year we have also had special services including BBQ
Church, Curry Church, prayer and praise services, services using art as part of
worship, and healing services. We really like to think that you can make good
friends at Church Hill Praise and, although this happens naturally, we try and encourage
it by having events such as a Christmas Meal at the local Toby Carvery, going
for curries together and making time to have nice refreshments after the
service!
Church Hill Praise - or CHP as we like to call it - attracts a range of people.
Whilst there are significant numbers of young people and 18-30's there is a
place for anyone who enjoys our up to date style. We aim to make everyone feel
welcome.
