Directions to St Matthew's Centre
1.
From M6 Junction 7, continue on A34 towards Walsall Town Centre until
Six Ways roundabout (end of Birmingham Rd / start of Springhill Rd). For
directions from Six Ways, see item 5 below.
2.
From M6 Junction 9, head north until you reach the Ring Road at the
traffic lights. You need to go anti-clockwise (Eastwards) round the Ring
Road, so get in the right hand lane. Continue on Ring Road until you
meet the intersection with the A34 at the double roundabout and turn
left towards the Town Centre until you reach Six Ways roundabout. For
directions from Six Ways, see item 5 below.
3.
From M6 Junction 10, head East on the A454 towards Walsall. At the
junction with the Ring Road A4148 you need to go clockwise, so carry
straight on. At the Arboretum roundabout, take the third exit, Lower
Rushall St, passing Morrisons Supermarket on your right hand side. At
the junction with Ablewell St, turn left (straight on is not
permitted!). Continue straight on at Roundabout into Springhill Rd,
which is a short stretch of dual carriageway, until you come to Six Ways
Roundabout. For directions from Six Ways, see item 5 below.
4.
From the North / Lichfield / A5, follow the A461 all the way to Walsall
town Centre, crossing over the roundabout intersection with the A454
(3rd exit) to the Arboretum roundabout intersecting with the Ring Road
A4148. Take the second exit into Lower Rushall St and follow remaining
directions from item 3. above and item 5. below.
5.
From Six Ways roundabout (nearly there!) Take Birmingham Street (not
Birmingham Rd) exit: there is a sign here to St Matthew's. Continue past
Blue Coat Comp. Turn right at New St and immediately right again under
the archway into the Church Close. The Church is directly and
unmistakably in front of you and St Matthew's Centre is immediately
after the flats on your right.
