Please help distribute our Easter Card!

An greetings card and invitation to our Easter Services is now available. The cards are bundled up street by street for distribution to every home in our parish. Please take a bundle and push the cards through the letterboxes of a street near you. Let's do all we can to fill St Matthew's this Easter. There are also some spares for you to use as personal invitations to your family and friends.

 

Dance Project This Morning 11.30am: Tina Durmisi is a 3rd year dance student at Walsall Campus and will present the work she has choreographed after the 10am service today. There will be examiners present to assess her work. Your presence is welcome - please stay after coffee to enjoy Tina's beautiful dance.

 

WORKING PARTY This Saturday 27 March 10am-12.

The new quinquennial inspection report highlights the need to cut back shrubs and bushes around the church in order to improve visibility and reduce vandalism etc. Please join us on Saturday 27th and bring your gardening tools and old clothes.

 

 

AGM 20 April

§  The Electoral Roll is now under review prior to the AGM to check who is entitled to vote. Please check that your entry is correct. If you would like to be on the Roll, collect an application form from the back of church or from Michael Hazzard. No need to reapply if you are already on the Roll.

§  Wardens and Church Council Members The nominations book is now open for anyone who wants to stand for election to these vital posts. You will need a proposer and a seconder.

 

Party in the Park 4 July 2010. Your photos of PiP 2009 are needed for the publicity for PiP 2010 - e-mail to Colin.

 

Coffee Morning and Bring & Buy Sale Saturday April 10 in St. Matthew’s Centre 10am-12noon. We really need offers of help for the day and gifts of saleable items, especially cakes, jams, bric a brac, books, cds etc. Ann Walton & Joyce Mellors. Tel  632948

Church Cleaning and Flowers - URGENT APPEAL: More volunteers please to clean the Church on Tuesday and Friday mornings. Call Margaret Eddowes 648080 or Helen Robinson 623183. Donations for flowers for Easter are also needed please.
